Job Summary
We are a vibrant, private family medicine practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and highly personalized service. Our clinic offers a premium work environment where a nurse’s clinical knowledge, judgment, and skills are fully utilized. We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our small, welcoming, and collaborative team.
The ideal candidate is dynamic, autonomous, and patient-focused, with excellent triage skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality patient triage with strong clinical judgment and physician support
- Build rapport and establish trusting relationships with patients
- Specimen collection, blood tests, and other laboratory procedures
- ECG testing, ear cleaning, and basic wound care
- Maintain accurate documentation in a paperless electronic medical record
- Demonstrate comfort with technology and day-to-day computer use
- Collaborate efficiently within a team and follow established clinic protocols
Requirements
- Bilingual in French and English (required)
- Member in good standing of the OIIQ
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Previous experience in a family medicine setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Vaccination certification in accordance with the Protocole d’immunisation du Québec
- Experience with blood work and specimen collection
- Knowledge of laboratory billing and processes
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time (37.5–40 hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime (flexible hours)
- Salary: Remuneration to be determined based on experience and OIIQ guidelines
- Work Location: In person (Westmount, QC H3Z 2B2)
Qualifications
- Education: DCS / DEC
- Experience: Minimum 5 years clinical experience
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) – OIIQ (required)
- Language: French (required), English
